About the role
This role will provide day-to-day support to the Manager, Operations as well as support with the organisational property strategy which will include planning, capital works and site/staff relocations. The Facilities and Operations officer will be providing services to all areas of the organisation in accordance with organisational policies with a high level of customer service to all internal and external stakeholders. Alongside the Operations Manager, you will ensure the organisation’s compliance with all relevant OH&S and WHS legislation.

About you
This role will suit a candidate with the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience in facilities, property or operations activities within a multi-site organisation
- Knowledge of Training in Occupational Health and Safety and or Workplace Health and Safety legislation
- A basic understanding of common maintenance issues, including the rectification process knowledge of, and common-sense approach to, a range of maintenance issues
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to set priorities and manage multiple deadlines while maintaining an exacting attention to detail
- Experience in Ability to managing small property and small projects, from commencement to completion, take responsibility for tasks and see them through to completion

Jesuit Social Services operates a range of programs for disadvantaged young people, families and communities from various operational sites.

The Finance and Organisational Processes team is responsible for financial administration, operations, risk and compliance and ICT of Jesuit Social Services and is located in inner-City metropolitan Melbourne.
